AT&T provides Active Armor for free, it works great. It'll filter all sorts of spam calls and allow you to customize actions for spam or telemarketing calls. I also just have it set to send unrecognized numbers to voicemail also, then it'll pop up a transcript of the voicemail.

I’m getting that I’m email. I stopped blocking em at around 100 or so numbers. Sometimes I get the same email twice with a different address. Am I gonna have to change my email address to stop this shat?

I have it through AT&T but it doesn't seem to work.

My mom was getting a spam call every minute. No kidding. And they would be on the call long enough to trigger the voice mail. I thought she was exaggerating, so I went to her house. She wasn't exaggerating. She literally could not make any calls out because of these.

We called Verizon and out of desperation put every line on my account under the spam call blocker add on they have for $4/ month. The calls stopped instantly. And we've not had any issues since then, although it has been alerting me to several a day this week.

I'm intrigued by the Google Voice. Is the call quality good because someone called me through FB Messenger the other day and the quality was not good.

I don’t have any issues at all.

My phone history is probably 85%+ span. And this is the only social media I have. If someone could get me a location where “Mathew” ….. sounds like a magic carpet repair guy, is. I could set a public example, it’s bad enough I’d go down as a martyr to make it stop… seriously

I started using an free app called 'should i answer'. Took mine down from about 20+/day to 1 or 2. They just get straight blocked and never even rings. They do sometimes have voicemails show up though but id rather go through a couple VM to make sure the calls arent legit than have phone ring all the time

                    This right here. Easy peasy.

                        ^^^^^

I did this recently and its helped. I was getting spam from local numbers quite a bit and not only do they call, they call at least 3-4 times in a row if you decline the call. Rapid fire so you know it's like an auto-dialer.

This - easy peasy. Your phone lights up but doesn’t ring. I don’t sweat spam calls because I don’t have to hear them.
