Got some interesting character on that one. Everything wants to go up.

I'm heading to the lease tomorrow. Buddy of mine is going to help me get a stand in the air, and once that's done the real fun begins. I've got about 3.5 - 4 acres mowed out amongst the pines for a big arse food plot, so I'll need to see what limbs and miscellaneous trash trees need to be trimmed.

Gotta get corn and protein out too.

Good luck. This is great working weather.

It's supposed to rain a bit Saturday evening, but at least I'll have the cloud cover to keep the temps down some. And it's not 90°, so that's a good.

You and Pat are a lot tougher than the rest of us. But I’m sure someone will come along and “ FIFY” my response.

I lived in Corpus for about 10 years and used to marvel watching the 10PM evening news during the summer and it would still be over 100 degrees in Laredo and sometimes Alice, when they would report at ~10:15PM.

I’ll tell you though, I would take that over 95 degrees,1 trillion % humidity, and no wind in the deep mosquito swarming, swamp woods of SE Texas.

Does anybody know where to get 24 gauge metal sheets in different colors, light green? I’m in the Houston area so someplace around here would be great, but I’m not opposed to driving somewhere to get it either.

Check out Steel Surplus. Eastex Freeway at Crosstimbers. You'll see the yellow buildings on the west side of the freeway.

                                Im in.

Lots of survivors on my place I’m looking forward to see grow this summer.

Back yard buck that broke off early last two years will be 7+ this coming season. It’s his time
