Passing it on every day - are you doing it?

Saw a thread on another forum - triggered me to post this for what it is worth.

Seems like the older I get the more I recognize situations in my everyday life to have the opportunity to pay it forward.

    Examples??

Single Mom with kids who is working her tail off as a waitress to provide for her kids - tip her big.

In line at Jack in the Box (or similar) and tell them to put the order from the car behind me on my credit card. Just request that the person taking your order ask the next in line to Pay it forward

Go into the post office and see an elderly person coming in behind you - open the door and wait for them to pass through

In line in traffic - you are in a hurry - someone else is trying to get into line - wave them in - the cost for doing this? An extra minute of your day.

The opportunities are endless - you just have to stay aware - it will make our world a better place and make you feel good about yourself

Back before Christmas I went through the drive through at Jack in the Box. All I ordered was to pay for the person behind me. Dude ordered $31 and change worth of tacos! I cracked up over that!

Back on topic! I don’t think the Op is looking for people to say what they’ve done , but instead is helping people stay in check- solid positivity! Thanks Op

I've spent my whole career helping the younger guy's get better. I have too much experience to share and don't want to waste it.

Yes Sir - purpose of the thread was just to remind folks (like I have to remind myself at times) how important and rewarding it is to be aware of opportunities that come up daily in which we can show kindness towards another human being - many many ways to do it if we all just stay aware -

Great thread OP. I’m sure that we can all stand a little reminder from time to time. Sometimes just a kind word can work wonders. 👍👍
