Take a bottle of cheap Vodka
Pure it in a Brita countertop water purifier

Now you have good filtered Vodka

I remember when mythbusters did this. They had a vodka taste tester come in to do a blind taste test. It's been a while since I've seen it but I think it was confirmed.

Yea that guy put all of them in order according to how many times they ran it through the filter.

None the less, i doubt I could tell the difference in any of them.

If you take a fat girl home in the light , isn’t she still a far girl in the dark !
Buy good vodka, drink good vodka.

Did this in college. Filtered it 6 times. Best vodka ever and it only cost $5.

I usually filter mine through my kidneys. Saves a lot of steps and time wasted that I could have used for drinking.

J/K I only drink single malt highland scotch either by myself or with somebody.

Once had a bartender show me why I shouldn't order well vodka at the bar.

Took two shot glasses and poured some half/half in each. Then took their well vodka and Grey Goose and poured it into the shot glasses.

The well vodka curdled the milk.

                Haven't ordered well vodka since!

Depends on how much Vodka is involved and if anyone seen you take her home.

We got 6 Brita pitchers from Goodwill and pulled the top parts out of 5 of them. Stacked them up and poured a handle of Mr Boston's in. By the time if filtered to the bottom it was finally drinkable. Did that all through my 20s till I started making enough money to buy decent liquor.

I just went to a distillery in Branson and the owner told us that a majority of the vodkas are made in the same distillery in Kansas. Including TITO's. The other company's then add their own water and rebottle them. He also said most companies use reverse osmosis water so there is not as much difference. Tito's was fined by the feds for false advertising. They had to change their label from where they stated they were hand crafted small batch vodka. Look at the labels and they say "bottled" wherever...

If this worked why do vodka distillers not do this and triple the price of the vodka. Seems like it would be a very simple process?

WRONG! I've toured Tito's plant in Austin and have a good friend who is a manager there. And they settled the lawsuit and their label still says Tito's Handmade Vodka. Google is your friend.

Vodka is vodka. Cheap stuff tastes the same as the expensive stuff.

This is not the case with tequila.
