Vodka with 2 squeezed limes and topped with topo chico is my go to. Vodka with grapefruit, orange, or cranberry juice is tasty as well.
Reyka makes a **** good vodka for the money.
I second your endorsement for Reyka. Finest vodka I've ever had.

Dripping Springs or bust. All I have been buying the last 7 years or so. It just goes well with everything, but we typically drink it just like above, vodka - lime - topo and ice. Cheers!

Talking about vodkas, I've been really digging the Costco Vodka lately; it's Kirkland brand. Surprisingly smooth, and it's super affordable; kind of gives me Grey Goose vibes but without the hit to the wallet. Plus, it's got this subtle creamy vanilla flavor that just works well with everything, from a simple mix with soda to more complex cocktails. Anyways, your Topo Chico mix sounds refreshing. I might give that a go next time.

Cheers to great vodka on a budget!
Had some bloody marys over the weekend.
Will have to try that Kirkland Vodka.

I was on a vodka kick for awhile, mostly ranch waters and martinis, occasionally a manhattan, now I am on the tequila, love some good sipping respasado or anejo, vodka does not come close to good tequila in my mind.

Have you tried Tres Generaci?nes? My favorite tequila priced itself out of my budget for an everyday tequila—or so was the edict laid down by my husband. He brought several alternatives home for me to experiment with and, as it turned out, I ended up preferring the TG to my old favorite. Win/win.

You tequila drinkers need to try Pueblo viejo silver.

Costco house brand Kirklands Vodka is bottled by Kettle One.

2 totally different kinds of alcohol.
Vodka is good for mixing. Good tequila is for sipping.

I am going to try and make some tequila soon, well I guess it will be an agave spirit, used 100% organic blue agave nectar for the mash, it is ready to run now. Plan on aging in oak barrel for 3 to 6 months, may keep a little silver back just to sip on or make a margarita.

Titos was my favorite until they gave $20 million to the democratic party. A friend of mine has just started Frio River Vodka. It's really good and substantially cheaper than Titos or Dripping Springs. Plus its made here in Texas. https://friovodka.com/

                                cheers!
