On the facebook food forums, Touch of Cajun in Nederland seems to get a majority of the recommendations or nearly so.

If it's the FB page I am thinking of it is somewhat biased....the one with the discount card??. It's a good FB group but was better before the advertising but don't blame them a bit since they have made it into a $$ maker.

Judice’s is my go to. I like Bridge City over Mid County, but more for ambiance.

Larry’s has been a no-go since the sell.

It is individuals making comments, not an entity or group. It is no different than asking an opinion on here. There are comments like “K Asian hands down” to “Reel Cajun is the best” and so on. I just see what seems like more Touch to Cajun comments.

In fact it is like this thread. Someone will start a thread like, I am in the mood for crawfish and get a few dozen comments.

The location will be what kills that place. Its off the beaten path for any other restaurants or things to do. The only thing that will help it, is if it can maintain the lunch crowd that Larry's used to pulled in from the plants.

It made it for over 30 years off the beaten path.. a lot of locals liked the Cajun music on the weekends.
