For us it’s eat, freeze, can and give some to family, friends and neighbors. For that matter, I always try to plant extra so I can give some away.

I’m dying to put out my tomatoes but I’m still seeing nighttime temps getting down in the 40’s around here.
What’s y’all’s temperature limits for putting out your tomatoes?

Mine would be any time after Easter. It's what my maternal grandmother would always say.

Vegetables still going in. Will post pics over the weekend… got some flowers into pottery last couple of days.

Charlie those double row paintings are looking good. Those berries look like they are about to burst and loaded down. I bet you are ready for a cobbler.

Things are coming along nicely for me so far.
Potatoes are thriving, although I won’t know how well until harvest.

First set of beans are popping up. I’ll plant more next week.

I’m tickled to see my strawberries putting on fruit. The first pic is one that I planted last year and the other is one of the ones I put in this year. Every year I plan on adding some.

I just planted three blackberries a few weeks ago and they’re doing great.

Now I don’t have an indoor setup for starting seedlings so I though I’d try an experiment. I started some seeds in containers and every day, if the weather is warm enough, I take them outside. They seem to be doing well. Maybe not growing as fast as under grow lights but I’m pleased with their progress.

Well, we got golf ball sized hail today. I checked the garden which was planted last weekend, did not take any direct hits. Whew.
