I'll have 154 bags when we're all done and I can water them all at the same time!! while watering the berries. A separate circuit with drip tape for the in-ground plots will water both those plots at once... With the water soluble fertilizers, we can fertilize just by watering normally by hooking the injector system into the watering system... It was all trial and error (with a LOT of errors) last year, but this year has gone much smoother.
Glad to see you're catching on.

Had pvc running across all my buckets with a dripper above each bucket. Anything that will hold dirt becomes a "container ".

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

We skipped the garden last year because Syl had a knee replaced and I was focusing on an elk hunt. This year we got the onions in early and green beans are looking good. Some of the cucumbers were started from plant and the seeds I germinated are starting to come up. Trying some carrots this year and have 2 tomato plants, 2 bell peppers, and 2 japs.

I also earned my wood burning badge and made a new sign.

Haha. They can have it. The wrath my wife would bring down on me for killing them isn’t worth it. I think they will just move on.

As always I’m behind… I’ve got seed started for peppers, tomatoes, melons, broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Yesterday I planted 18 tomato plants, squash, zucchini, spaghetti squash, pickles and cucumbers. Hopefully this weekend I’ll get my butt in gear and plant the rest of the garden including my flowers.

I use a drip watering system. It’s really easy to put together and customize for your needs. I have shutoff valves at each of my raised beds so I have better control over who gets water and I can shut off a tub that hasn’t been planted yet.

Angie, I took a bunch of pics this morning while adding a couple tubs and watering lines... I'll do my best this evening to post up how I do it with pics of the components I use...
Like Geezy Rider said, they really are easy to put together and there are many ways to do it. I'll post up how I do it.

I moved my pepper plants and okra plants to the greenhouse this morning to help get them hardened off some. Tomatoes have been in the greenhouse for a couple weeks. Still shooting to have them all in the ground by Easter or just after... Can't believe we're this late!! Not worried about the peppers. They'll do fine once it gets hot... The maters, not so much... May put up shade cloth to knock some of the hottest sun off them once we get them going.

Bride cut more greens this morning... If everything does as well as our early greens, we'll be able to feed the county!!

FYI, that huge greenery right in the middle of the greenhouse is lettuce that she started directly in bags... Just haven't put it outside yet, but I bet shes cut a 55 gallon drum full off those 2 bags! It just keeps going nutz! Dang shame there's no good way to store (freeze) it. Flavor is so much more robust than what you buy in the store! It's like a whole different food group!

Momma grabbed them overnight and they were gone this morning. They were only in the bed for two days that I noticed.

If that would have been in my garden, it wouldn't have been momma that grabbed them. Our cat loves little bunnies. Lol
