Update- After some back and forth this morning because of some higher numbers, they have decided to let us take Colt home [emoji119][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120] Thank you Jesus! We have to bring him back on Monday to recheck everything and do X-rays, so please keep praying he can maintain where he’s at and stay at home! What this boy has been through over the last couple months is unbelievable. He was in complete heart failure, on a ventilator twice, pneumonia, and had an open heart surgery we were told he might not ever even be able to have. A surgery his cardiologist told us “most surgeons would not have even attempted” due to the severity of Colts condition. Only God [emoji119]
We know he still has a long way to go for recovery. He’s going home on a feeding tube, lots of meds, lung issues, and his heart is still not fully functioning as it should be. We will not take one minute of being home for granted that’s for sure! Thank you all for so many prayers and always checking in on him. Again, he would not be where he is today if it weren’t for one mighty God and so many people praying for him [emoji170][emoji120]

Just seeing this. Praying for Colt and the family. Cooks is the greatest place for children. Our first grandbaby was transferred there on the day he was born in January and surgery 2 days later. Spent 3 weeks there and doing great now.
