    Recommendations for Fletching Jig?

I bought a relatively cheap jig at academy thinking it was good enough. Well quickly found out that its a piece of junk, hard to get all the vanes symetrical. Some of it may be my inexperience in using them, but shouldn't be that difficult. So what does everyone else use? Not looking to spend a whole lot, but want something that works good and is easy to use. Are the singles easier to use?

Arizona EZ Fletch. I use the "right" model. Does Blazers very well. Quick, easy and economical. Not the best for feathers though. I use Loctite Gel for my fletching.

I use the Jo-Jan. It is pretty simple for me to use but if you are a perfectionist it is not for you. It always leaves one fletch a little closer to the nock than the others. Has not affected flight or anything else.

Thank you for proving my theory on this jig.

            x2 on the Bitzenberger
I like mine, just use some fast set glue and it works great.

Blitzenberger and BPE are both good fletchers.I use a Jo-Jan multi fletcher and they work good also.

I use this exact same setup. Real easy to use. Loctite best glue you can use.

I had the EZ Fletch....served me well, but I hated that I couldn't seem to get my vanes to all be the same distance from the nock. I "upgraded" to a single clamp style jig that I bought at Academy (maybe the same one you are have, but maybe not) made by Bohning and I love it. The Bitz is a little pricey for me.

I have the Bohning tower jig, but have the same problem some of you mentioned, can't get the vanes the same distance from the nock. It seems like a good idea, but they need to refine their design a little, too much wiggle room for the fletching to move back and forth. Think I am going to take it back and try the Bitzenberger. Thanks guys for the suggestions!

I have had a Bitz, and a Jo-Jan multi-fletcher, and I now use an Arizona EZ Fletcher, and am more pleased with it than with any of the others. For the price, the ease of use, and the speed I find it hard to beat.

I have a blitz but the Bohning Blazer jig I got is more simple to operate. I have had my blitz for a year now and I'm just now learning to use it
