I need to get back up to my brother's place on Lake Kiowa. I done et all my filets. I think it's time for the big girls to move up on the rocks and artificial beds. I love the 12" size limit the board put on that lake.

Does TBend only have black crappie in it? That cooler looks like only blacks and I watched a couple of videos the other day filmed on TB and they only caught black crappie as well.

We've catch a lot of whites out of it. But that cooler is all blacks.

You should catch some then, instead of just fishing for them. Then you'd be happy.

Today’s trip wanted a full day on Fork and I told them I didn’t think we would get it all in so we rescheduled. Man I’m glad! I’m beat! Gonna have breakfast and go to church. We caught lots of fish the last 2 days just never ran into any kickers. Our shallow (12-15) fish were gone. We had our best luck on deep timber. 28-35FOW and the fish were 24-28’ down. Wind was horrible Friday. We toasted 2 lithium battery’s. Got them jump started and working again. Had to use a backup 80lb 24v cause the 36v is still in the shop and it didn’t have enough guts to drag us around in that wind. Little man wants to shoot some docks so maybe we will head to Conroe one afternoon this week!

Scott brought his wife and mother to Pines today to chase shallow crappie. Every one knows I am not a big fan of spring as far as crappie go but today was about as great a day as you could have on the water. Pleasant breeze, warm temperatures and active fish. They caught everything on 1/4oz jig under a slip cork in 2 to 6 foot of water

I haven't spend much time on Lavon but I would be in the timber around Mallard park or up N towards 380 this time of year!
