Just wanting to simplify a bit. My buddy borrows my boat quite a bit and I'm always having to have my wife set drill batteries out for him while i'm at work.
I think i'm going to just bite the bullet and buy a lithium 75 for the trolling motor and a 50 for my scope and graphs.
David with Shut Up and Fish has the 100ah Gylls on sale for $450. I've been running them for a year now and have been pleased!

That sounds like a great price. My only problem would be i would still need another one to run my scope on. A friend of a friend is sponsored by some battery company. I think he told me it would be $650 for a 75 and a 50.

Search the Amped Outdoors website for a chart with the amp draw of different graphs and Livescope to figure out how much you amperage you should need to fish as long as you want to.
Went with Todd and keith Sunday at Conroe. Had to battle the wind and get a lot of rust off my pitching game. Nice healthy fish. Good times were had.
I enjoyed it, thanks for the invite. I am definitely out of practice, haven't been fishing since early November. Fish were really scattered, some of them we tried sticking the jig in their mouth and they still wouldn't bite! The wind didn't help either, nor did my pitching accuracy. Thanks Todd, I enjoyed it.
I tried cooking some in the air fryer. It's not as good as fried, for sure, but not bad. I will try other recipes, but will stick to frying them most of the time.
Thanks ya'll! Hopefully back on the water tomorrow! Still waiting on the trailer repair then to Lindale Tire for 4 new tires and see if we can keep his boat together this time! I need me a 4 pounder for the wall! Or a 7 fish 21 pound stringer. That would end up costing me a pretty penny! I think I would have to get a stringer replica then!
Got the 15' Jenko's ready to go! Chase around giant crappie and carps!!
Any tips for Livingston this weekend? I haven't fished that lake in a long time. Was thinking I would just hit some bulkheads and try to find some crappie and cats early. We will be on a pontoon with the family so we won't be boating too far or going up the river.
If you want Crappie fish up in Kickapoo Creek. If you want to beat the crowds fish Penwah Slough and the drop offs right out from the mouth of Penwah. I haven’t heard of much action on the bulkheads yet. Shoot the docks and boat stalls in the afternoon when the sun gets up. They like the shade. Good luck.
