My 2/ 9" graphs and livescope are on a separate battery and no issues so far in a year. I have 4 batteries, 2 for my trolling motor, one for cranking and talons and one for graphs and livescope.

Spring time crappie drive me nuts
Last weekend 2 short trips with 100 fish a day. Yesterday we had 50 in a little over 3 hours.
Today they were scattered everywhere. We found some fish everywhere but not many anywhere. We fished from 2’ deep to 30. Roy and his son in law stuck with me and put together a fine mess of fish but it took us 8 hours to do it.
Just when you think you have crappie figured out, they jump up and kick your teeth in. All I can say is May, please hurry up and get here

I seldom fish for more than half a day but would like to be able to fish all day if i want. Are yall running livescope on a separate battery to avoid interference? I have ran it on dewalts up to this point. I ran trolling motor and scope off same battery yesterday and i felt my image was worse, but could be other factors.
These lithium batteries are crazy expensive. And i would need to buy a charger for them. Tell me why I shouldn't just buy a $150 lead trolling battery.

I realize they are whites because of the distinct bars but when the males are in spawning color we still call em blacks. The males this time of year are pretty fish and aggressive biters when you find one. Males are scattered now and to catch them you almost need to power fish like you was after ditch pickles or green trash fish.We did have some problems with small green trash fish to 2 lbs stealing a minnow here and there.

Have seen black crappie turn white in muddy water and white crappie turn black during the spawn.
Thank God for such an awesome little fish that tastes so great !We used to call em Linebackers.

I think i'm going to just bite the bullet and buy a lithium 75 for the trolling motor and a 50 for my scope and graphs.

I'm running my Livescope off a Milwaukee 12 ah 18V Fuel battery and my Garmin 8612xsv on another one. Then I have 3 group 31 AGM batteries from Sam's Club for my trolling motor. I have another group 31 deep cycle for a house battery and a 12V lead acid starting battery that I just bought. When my trolling motor batteries die, I plan to replace them with Lithium to reduce weight. Each of my AGM batteries weigh 85 pounds!
