2023 Spartan and OCR's and who wants to? (paging Landrover)

So last year I had a thread about going to run a Spartan with Alien77721 and our sons. Not sure he remembers, but I do, Mr. Oscar chimed in that he needs to do one of these one days. Got me to thinking of who else on here might have that as one their things they have meant to do but just hadn't??

Will try to keep this updated with Texas obstacle races coming up and answer any questions that anyone who might be interested have to ask. Please post up any smaller events that we may not know about as well.

Spartan's we plan to attend and will make a team if anyone wants to join.
Any and all ages, sizes, abilities (we'll find a way to get ya cross the finish line)

    March 11-12 Houston (Cat Springs)
    April 1st Baylor Stadium
    May 20-21 Austin (Burnet)
    October 21-22 Dallas (Granbury)

Y’all can have it. My niece ran the Ultra a couple months ago. Her husband did the Beast. They both finished very well and finished. Ultra is 50k (over 30 miles).

            Put me down as interested.

I've already got a few things on the calendar this year that I'm shooting for (climb at least one 14'er, Denver GoRuck 50 miler and the Caprock Trailway thru hike) but I've been wanting to do an OCR. I haven't checked but Spartan usually has an event at Cowboy stadium each summer too I thought.

Yessir!!!! I am definitely following along on this. March definitely gives me time to learn how to run at a much faster clip. Let me think thru this as I am definitely needing to get this off my list of stuff to deaux!

As of right now that one has been replaced with Baylor stadium April 1st. No confirmation on cowboy stadium yet

I know alien has, so he can probably speak better, but pretty similar. None the electric shock stuff or things to just mess with your head. Mostly body weight obstacles like monkey bars, rope climbs, lots stuff to climb and crawl over. Theres tons of youtube videos of people wearing gopro's doing them.

I'm signed up to run the Houston Sprint, Austin Super, and Dallas Beast this year, so I can get my Trifecta. Clearly, I am a victim of Spartan's marketing machine.

ok, houston is on our spring break and i think we have plans for a river trip.

but i am shooting for the stadion in waco if my son doesnt have baseball that weekend, super in austin, and then the beast in dallas.

trying to talk a couple of buddies into joining.
