    I like being legal but if they make it near impossible and cite you even when trying then it makes more sense to just hide them better. Would the ticket be bigger if line had no float and no tag? LOL

      Does it say what size/color the float has to be? Just wrap a little dark float on your line around the limb.

          6 inches my 3 inches minimum and any color but orange

            It's for folks that don't pull their lines when done fishing. Passive catching may happen and it kills the fish. Float is for GW visibility and tag is to know who to ticket . Fish for over a week and you should have updated the date on the tag at least once.
