I have a 24ft bay boat w/225hp outboard and t-top. I fish, pull tubes and hang out on it with my family. It spends most of it’s life on lake Lewisville. Something like this or a deck or pontoon boat with an outboard that can pull tubes sounds like it would work for you.

I'd go with a well equipped War Eagle with a ballsy motor.

No need to be sorry, I’m not. I didn’t sell it because I couldn’t use it, I sold it because I wanted to and made a profit doing it. Anyone who doesn’t WANT TO FISH more than five or six times a year doesn’t need a boat. I’m him !

Hey, I recognize that boat & truck
Thanks again for the great deal Drycreek, I have been using the heck out of it, it has been a fantastic boat & hasn't given me a lick of trouble at all. I got the Livescope down pat and have been putting the hammer down on the crappie all year

I've owned a boat my whole life. Fixing to head out the door now to go fishing. I wouldn't ever be without a boat. For those saying break out another thousand well that's not true. FJB

sounds like a 62' Viking would look good on The lake or a 25' Boatright?

                    Offshore, bay, wake, flats

Puts you at about a half million in holes in the water, and I still don’t have everything I need.

45 Viking should round out the fleet.

                        Look into a deck boat.

Comfort like a pontoon; can pull tubers, cruise around at 35mph+, and can fish out of it.

I didn’t take the time to read the entire thread… but I will say we do everything out of our glastron… we’ve caught big cats, shot ducks, pulls a tube great, my wife likes to tan on it.. it’s hard to what for a family boat that’s paid for

No I don’t run in less than 18” of water, but I kills three man limits on choke canyon out of it 4 days in a row 2 weeks ago.

I also shot a deer in red and black plaid this weekend… anyone who says you can’t, they are just spoiled and Impractical.. would it be great to have a boat for every occasion… maybe. But it’s sure Nice to have one that does it all fairly well.
