    Exactly the same set up and reaction I had when I shot mine up in the Ft. Davis mountains. Absolute blast. I was told to prepare for 300yr shot, got mine at 40yrds, sure could have killed him with my bow but it didn't lessen the adventure.

      Shot my first on this past Sunday as well. Watched quite a few videos of them being shot and they don't seem to react to a shot like a deer does. Just kind of walk away from it. Shot mine with a 300 grain solid from 45-70 pistol running 1,860 fps. Direct front shoulder hit. Walked about 30 yards and laid down. Clean pass-thru with bullet but little blood other than where he laid down.
