That’s 69 trips to the target and back checking each shot. If starting from the bench that would be 8.8 miles round trip. That would be 607.2 miles checking the target. Would be almost 2 tanks of gas in my truck.

4.4 miles is a long way regardless of how many times you had to pull the trigger to get one on target. The actual distance traveled is even longer considering the trajectory.

I assume there is some practical distance limit where the bullet isn’t spinning anymore and would start to tumble uncontrollably.

If I were to get shot at I could only hope it was from that far away. I ain't gonna stand around wondering where 60+ bullets are coming from. I'll just leave.

And I would venture to say that the world record only exists in their head. Nobody is going to certify one shot as a record.

Not everyone, but if they think it was just luck to get there in 69 shots, they are clueless. Like Dale, I'd like to see the pattern before the hit, but they weren't blindly lobbing bullets.

Oh it’s way more than luck. They are mathematicians. Very good at ballistics and consistent loading. Very good at reading conditions. It’s a feat for sure. Money and brains more than shear skill.


The walking back and forth to the target is comical . Phones and radios are a thing lol
