Snake Boots or Reg Boots

I like my justin snake boots. I mainly use them for brush not snakes.

Also have my regular every day boots.

Then rubber boots.

Every man needs at least 5 pair of boots. LoL

How many snake bites did the snake boots save you from?
For me, I just wear my everyday leather boots. Snakes never tried to bite through them yet.

I might give some consideration to a snake boot if i lived in deep south Tx but anywhere else nope.

Just like weather or not to carry everyday. Most will never need it. But when you do, you will wish you did.

Depends on where I'm hunting, have a couple places down on the river that I won't go without them. Then have a place I can drive right up to the stand so I wear crocs lol

I do neoprene mud/water boots for everything.

Isn't neoprene penetrable to snakes, stickers, thorns, etc.?

i want a pair of lightweight, waterproof if possible, uninsulated snake boots. but i was blessed with very large calves. so i rarely buy cowboy\work boots with higher than a 12" top, because they rub

a zipper would be nice, but don't those wear out or get crapped up easy?

We have snakes but we have a lot more pear, mesquite and barbed wire.

Had to throw mine away this summer - wore them for 6 years. Now I wear regular hiking boots and feel fine. Watch where you step and you’ll be fine.

I’ve only ever almost stepped on a snake once and it was a rat snake.

67 years old never wore a snake boot. worked in the rice fields tennis shoes. worked on ranches and did a lot of coon hunting regular boots.
