Slow morning for us and rained out for the evening hunt, still better than being in the office all day.

Started raining when kids got off bus so we waited till 5:30. I had no birds to speak of but they were chomping at the bits to go.

Shot 3 shells. Killed 2 crippled 1
Bee Bop scared turtles and shot a .410
And the pigeon toed assassin learned how to clean birds

….. it was a win!

Work has been killing me but I try not to miss an opener. Ran home at lunch for 30 minutes. Killed two and missed one. At least the gun was out and a little lead hit the air!!!!!

10 years ago, I would....now its just too hit or miss around here. If its not filled up with day leasers, then its being sold for subdivisions.
