Anyone else getting tired of mowing

I have had to mow, every week virtually. During the heat of the summer i pushed it to every 2 weeks but still had to do it.

I have given a lot of thought to selling all my stuff and paying someone to mow my yard, but I know it will cost a fortune.

I wish! I mowed the lane at my farm once back in the spring. Hasn't needed mowing again yet. I have been fertilizing and watering my yard like crazy this summer, trying to keep it alive. $600 water bill last month. I mowed once last month. Still doesn't need it again yet. Getting some sprinkles right now, but that's all it is.

Being on the tractor with one job to do helps me unwind from all the BS that goes on during the week. Same with using the push mower at home. Didn't bother me one bit to not have to mow all through July and most of August though.

Not yet, I enjoy yard work as long as I have time. For the last couple of weeks we have been getting rain every day and my back yard is staying soggy. Grass is getting very tall, up until two weeks ago been mowing every 5 days. I was able to get front and side yard mowed this weekend but back is still too wet, Its been close to 10 days now. Not sure when I will be able to get it done.

Have not mowed my 6.4 acres in 2 months due to lack of rain. Only mowed twice before that. Now I need to mow due to 3.5"'s last week. Pond is still going dry and still big cracks in the ground!

My mower battery keeps dying due to lack of use. I don’t think I have mowed my five acres more than 3 times this year. Kendall county is DRY! Rain last week missed me. Nothing but short dead grass.

If you spend your weeks working with little physical movement and driving in hours of traffic then an hour of good music on a mower is pure relaxation. Don't tell the wife as i use that work for bargaining.

Never been such a delicious beer as finishing yard work and sitting down outside enjoying it while looking over beautiful yard.
