Hope all turns out well. The universe coming after your children will change your calculus very quickly. We are not programmed to accept certain outcomes.

                Hang in there.

So the specialist was right with what he thought it was. Langerhans histiocytosis. He's going to have to do a year of chemotherapy. The good is it's a mild chemo and he will be taking steroids with it. The oncologist said he shouldn't lose his hair from it and surprisingly reccomended he continue to go to school to keep his life normal as possible. When we got there they talked about doing another MRI and a bone marrow biopsy. They took blood and did labwork and based on lab work another MRI and a bone marrow biopsy will not be necessary so that's good news. We still have to do a bone scan next week, then anesthesia and having a port put in. His chemo will be once a week for the first six weeks then once every 3 weeks after that over the course of a year. The prognosis is good, I'm not happy he has this but it could have been so much worse than what it is and for that I'm thankful. We can get through this. Thank you everyone again for the prayers I feel they've worked. I'll continue to update as they come.
