        Yep, Clints is pretty good. I can get it here in Mississippi at Walmart, it’s what I buy most of the time.

                                Here is a simple way I make “roasted” salsa verde




                                I use basically the same recipe for salsa roja except I replace the tomatillos with Roma tomatoes obviously and I’ll also fire up the smoker and smoke the jalapeño to make them chipotle peppers and I’ll also smoke a hatch pepper if I can find one.

                                If you want sweet salsa, the salsa roja tastes awesome if you add roasted pineapple

                                If you want a sweet pepper sauce instead of a salsa…. Here’s how I make that
