New a/c cost

I replaced mine a month ago in our 2000 sq ft house. 4 ton condenser unit and coil installed for $5600. This includes 10 yr warranty.

We got a hold of the guy we tried to contact in the first place. He just left. He changed the condenser abs a couple of contact points, checked the Freon. It’s cooling like a champ now. $200 is much better than $10,000. Calling the company who said the unit was shot on Monday to let them know they either have very bad tach or a crook working for them. Those sorry bastiges! I'd sure spread the word. A-hole with the 10k quote was looking for that commission. Glad they got er fixed!
