I have a lease in 14 that I picked up earlier this year. I can add one more on the lease agreement. It is just myself now and since I won't be hunting it this year, I am considering letting some one lease it for half.

In our group 4 out of 10 were unsuccessful which is about the same as last year.

In early 2021 there was a bill which was introduced which would have allowed landowners to transfer some of their tags to nonresidents through a system administered by the KDWPT. The bill never made it out of committee. A similar bill was introduced in 2019 but was unsuccessful.

From what I've been told back in the late 1990's the state allowed landowner tags to be transferred to nonresidents but there were some abuses of the system and it was stopped as a result.
