Aerobic workouts, I try to get a good walk in for about 30 minutes or get in the pool and throw my kids around for a while.
Get you a soccer ball and take them to the park or where ever and just kick it around, then keep doing that everyday. When you can start jogging over to it and kicking it. Work up to where you can start actually running short distances to kick it and chase it around the field for an hour. Works like a charm and it's fun.

A couple of things to keep in mind. The body has to metabolize the alcohol before it ever starts burning glycogen stores or fat. Your aerobic work is enough to burn a couple of light beers at best. Eliminate the empty calories and try to up your walking time. 30 minutes of aerobic work will utilize primarily muscle glycogen, but longer workouts will start to use fat as fuel. There are approximately 3500 calories in a pound of fat, so make sure you are running a calorie deficit as Glen suggested. Burn more than you take in and be consistent in your workouts.

I recommend using MyFitnessPal app if no one has recommended it to you yet. I used it for the opposite of what you're doing, but basically you set a time line on when you want to weigh and it sets a daily diet of macros for you. It's tedious to track everything you eat and drink, but I'll be ****ed if it isn't pretty close on getting you where you wana be in X amount of time. Keep it up boss

I’ll second the my fitness pal app. From last June until this July I went from 252 down to 168. I use my time while eating to make my food log entries, is sure seems to help to slow down my pace of eating while keeping me abreast of my calorie intake. Work hard on keeping the protein count up and delete the bad carbs and starches. I also took the opportunity to review my food logs with a friend practically every week(just keep you honest method that worked for me). Also ease into an exercise routine, even if it is just walking a few days a week and increasing it as you get used to it and as you see the changes. Oh, by the way, I was 68 when I began this journey in life style change. If you ever need someone to chat with during your journey, just message me and I will share my phone number. I will go with you on journey, for support. I really think discussing it routinely with your support group is a great motivational proactive approach.

It’s great that you have realized this and are willing to commit to success for your family and yourself. KEEP AT IT BIG BOY !!!!!!!!! Just saying……cC
