        That’s a great idea. Going to have to try it. Looks like 1 bottle will treat 320 gallons so perfect for a 275 gallon storage/nurse tank.

          We pump from a creek and hold 700 gallons and all we do is add bleach when we pump and have never had an issue

              I throw a piece of a pool tablet in ours and no issues.

                Paint it black or use some bleach or chlorine in it. I had rigged up a few as storage tanks to gravity flow to small troughs and I would put a little bleach or some shock powder for pools/hot tubs in the tanks and never had a problem with algae.

                  I use a bit of pool shock chlorine in my deer waterer tote every couple of months. Dissipates out in a few days. Deer don't mind it.
