What are you feeding and what are you paying?

Pre Covid I fed a LOT of antlers plus in Mason. $10ish a bag. 20%.

Antlers plus now has been $13 in Sonora at Rafter W. This time they were out. They had record rack(not a fan) at $17! And Double Down at $15. Much to my dismay I bought double down. Curious to see what all options there are. But don’t want to skimp on quality.

Weather guard and record rack was a bust on consumption but good on the wallets , but this was down south in Webb & Zapata , Zavala county
Out west in Sutton & runnels
We don’t have enough water right now for rumens to digest much without ,

Gotcha, our deer killed it when we were feeding it. It was same price as any back then.....

You talk about a lot of stuff you really don't know about. DD will outdraw any feed. Once, I mixed in some Antlermax and the deer picked thru it to get to the DD, leaving a pile of AM to rot on the ground. When I had a lease. Now? I don't feed cause I hunt public land.

As for feed, we’re only doing cottonseed and can barely keep up. We put out 10 tons in late February. I just did a loop and it’s 80% gone. Cottonseed prices are through the roof. We’re getting another load this week but I’m not sure we can feed them all year at this pace. Delivered it was $468 a ton. (Totes)
