I'm having a hard time picturing this..."make a loop around the rear tire (I assume) and wrap the other end to a tree." How is he going to get the strap wrapped around a tractor tire buried to the frame?
edit: I see Æthlang has already asked the same question.
Been there, done that with 4x4 trucks and 4x4 tractors at White River Lake east of Lubbock. Stayed stuck for 3 days. Not a muddy problem, just the main sub irrigation canal that filled White River Lake.
Broke thru the top 6-8" and everything sunk!
Might have to do a story, but no pics as cell phones had not been invented yet!
Chained wrapped around the bucket and around a tree, rotate the bucket, repeat and inch it out a little at a time. Plenty of trees there to work with. Just isn’t a quick fix I buried a tractor out in Cleveland 15+ years ago and that’s how we got it out.
This is when you need a Ford Bronco Classic 302 with all 4WD & an 8k lb winch
Have pulled a tractor out before buried deep
Too bad it’s way too far
Looks like y’all may be best off till things dry out if y’all can get some dry days following this rain
