Headed up to Oklahoma City from Houston tomorrow for a job. Looking at my gps seems like the winter weather has the roads messed up in Dallas. Anybody have any first hand info?

I'm supposed to be traveling to South TX tomorrow. Looks like a delayed start South... at best.

I traveled home from the office (Dallas North Tollway and Frankford) to Grapevine. Took me an hour (normally 30 minutes) and I used all the backroads because the freeways are a mess already.

Leave early if possible. Went down 75 to Dallas from Allen and back this morning. Multiple crashes and a semi was sideways across the Stacy Rd overpass earlier. Dallas streets were dry but bridges are icy on 75. Lost traction for a second at the Bethany overpass and the truck behind me almost went sideways in the same spot.

I went up Preston Rd from Lovers Lane up to Plano and cut over to Allen. Took 2 hours! Roads were fine but the other drivers were stupid!

I would advise against it. Just had a big wreck at the race track.

I bet it takes a few hours. I wouldn’t unless I absolutely had to.

Update, made it to OKC with no issues at all. Roads were good and not many people driving.
