Road Conditions Dallas - OKC

Headed up to Oklahoma City from Houston tomorrow for a job. Looking at my gps seems like the winter weather has the roads messed up in Dallas. Anybody have any first hand info?

im on the north side of the metroplex, if this keeps up, roads are gonna be absolutely terrible tomorrow morning.

My truck was completely thawed out this morning when I went to get gas at 8, just went and moved my truck from the driveway to the front of the house and its completely frozen over already.

Bridges and overpasses are already sketchy at best, depends on the road crew work that has been done to prevent the icing.

Gonna get a lot worse over night and into early morning..

I had to chisel my wifes car out of the ice to come to work this morning. This was at4:30am in Allen. As of right now, it is bone dry here in downtown Dallas. Tomorrow is supposed to be the bad day.

Up in McKinney, its dry right now. but after 2:00 pm, its gonna start Raining/Sleet /Snow, until Thursday mid morning, now if it does as they say.... we are gonna have a good ol'time , i guess i'll be working from home tomorrow, sorry for those that drive into Dallas and work off of Lemmon, poor guys...

I'm in Irving. Some of the bridges were slippery when I pulled into the parking lot about 30 min ago. Our sidewalks are frozen solid.

Traffic is horrrrrrrible.

I'm about to send our crew home with stuff to do tomorrow from the house.

We are iced over here South of OKC. Another round is coming in tomorrow morning. It wont be above freezing until Friday afternoon. I would try to wait if you can.

I'm in Irving as well and the bridges are definitely starting to get slick even with sand down. I left the office about 45 minutes ago and I will just work from the house as it will only be getting worse.
