I thought the same thing when I changed from GM to Ford but your mind will change about 3-4 years in and all the A/C actuators, backup camera, and other little things begin to fail... not to mention the 3 different oil leaks I have had to fix.

Well that’s saying something, that truck right there is about the best they have to offer.

If we all drove / wanted the exact same truck there would be less to no competition and they could charge whatever they wanted for that one truck.

The option to a variety to choose from is a great place to be as a consumer.

Btw, whatever recall they performed on my 2019 fixed my steering looseness/ wobble.
Feels way more planted since getting it done.

My coworker just had his F250 broke into with the pixy dust / balsa wood driver door lock mechanism. This flaw should have been dealt with many moons ago.
Does the 2017+ body style still suffer from the screwdriver = key driver door problem?

Same here. Only one I’d say that had more problems than usual was a 2006 6.0 Powerstroke. Otherwise they have all been good vehicles.

I'm with you, 03 Tundra, 160,000 miles. Paint looks horrible, but if I repaint it I won't want to scratch it up at the lease.

Congrats still waiting on mine to come in.

Personally I will never buy another GMC. Bought my wife a 2012 GMC Yukon xl Denali and that truck barely lasted 120,000 miles. Lots of issues and the interior didn't hold up at all. Paid $60k new and was lucky to get $12k for it 7 years later when I sold it.

I have owned them all except Dodge and Nissan. They have all been good trucks. My current truck, 2017 Ford F350 with 6.2 gas just seems like it has a lot more room in in that the Chevy trucks. I'm not a diesel guy, don't have a need for it, so I don't have to deal with all of those issues.
Just recently bought my wife a 2021 F150 Lariat with the 3.5 Ecoboost and it is the nicest vehicle she said she has ever driven, and she came out of a Lexus GX460 to go into this truck.
Drive what you like, they are all good vehicles today.
