2022 crappie trip is back to Murvaul. That's a great time of year for that lake. They have lots of cabins and the lake house available so we can try this again! I'm already booked in a large cabin. Call Cindy to get your spot 903-693-6562.

Did some killing yesterday. The bite has been sporadic here at Whitney. Had to hit ‘em in the head repeatedly to get a bite. Had to grind all day and still couldn’t get a limit. Most boats I talk to have given up and looked for other species.

Nice work bru! After Sunday's duck hunt, I was to beat down to get out there yesterday. Had another Doctor's appt at 2PM yesterday anyway. Got 7 of them on my staff now.

Well, figured out it wasn't the starter!
Them there parts on the inside of the motor decided they wanted to be on the outside.
The starter was crooked because the piston hit it [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Got a solid 30 minutes out of this motor. Hopefully I'll get enough on taxes to pay off necessary stuff and have some leftover for a motor!

Dang flex. Those single moms are gonna hafta wait a little longer on that rooster tail. Pines was fun! Cold as hell! Fished with fluorocarbon all day cause braid would freeze to the spool. Caught a lot of fish. Had to take it easy last couple hours so we wouldn’t go over 50 since you can’t throw them back. Ended up with 7th place and 14.25 I think. Lost 2 good fish that would have helped! On my way to Conroe to ease the pain!! I guess complaining about 14 pound stringers and catching too many fish really isn’t much of a complaint though.

We ended up in the same boat. We were being pretty selective but at one point dad said "son, coolers getting pretty full. How many you reckon we got?". Had to stop and count em in the net bc I'm a dummy and forgot the clicker. We had 40 at the moment and 14.44 on our scale so we had to be extremely selective on the rest of our drops. First rattle out of the box, I dropped trolling motor and it wouldn't run. Figured it was a little iced over so we tried to let it thaw in the water. Got tired of waiting after about 15 or so min so we took the prop off and there was a chunk of ice that froze in the cavity that we had to bust loose.
