Wow...45 lbs to win a tourney. Unbelievable fish out of Grenada. Todd glad to see you on page 1 of the leaderboard and saw sole NE TX boys in the money. Safe travels back, the weather forecast this week looks great!

Had to pee on the foot pedal for the Ultrex to get it to work! Wouldn’t turn cause the cable was frozen. Kinda sad we even knew to do that!! It’s not the first time!!

Head back to D’Arbonne for American Crappie Trail national championship. I think we weight in at 1:28.30 on day 2. Day one was a little less embarrassing but it is what it is!!

Boats back rolling. Noticed some gear oil on the transom saver last time out, and that the pee hole was barely pouring after we ran through some skinny stuff in the river. (Exhaust ports still dumping water)

Pulled the lower, culprit was shift shaft seals so replaced that, flushed all the cooling lines, still no go, finally decided to remove the T fitting into the head for the tell tale- (******* it broke off in the motor)
But there was a tiny piece of gravel stuck in there, so I removed the boats kidney stone, got a new fitting and hose. She's back.

Took the kids to a lake I hate, but everyone else catches. Crappie had lock jaw, found a few whites up in a discharge canal out of the wind before rain chased us out. I think about one more week the crappie fishing will be great here on Granger,TP&L, and Waco!

            Nice stringer Rebelbow

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Good stuff ya'll! Been in the office all day. Gotta get through this week and get back to D'Arbonne for ACT National Championship next week! It's a knockout tourney like Wally's so we need to make it to Sat. The upside to not making it is we will drive straight home and fish Crappie Fest but I need an ACT cup to go along with the CM cup from D'Arbonne last year. I'm out of wall space for plaques. They're piling up on the cabinets.

Fished Palestine Sunday and Monday and struggled to find them, water temp was 52-55. Caught a few and had a good time on the lake.

Went out yesterday and still can't find any shallow on Granger. Lots still suspended around shad in 20' of water - Water as 54 degrees early and surface temps got up to 57 in the afternoon. At least they were willing to bite, but not as fun as catching them on jig/float in 1'.

Somerville, Yegua Creek. 3 limits of 25 in less than four hours. We did chartreuse jigs under corks at 4-5’ and then we did spottail minnows.
