Stupid? That’s pretty ignorant to say. Recruiting classes are the start. Then comes player developement, coaching, player retention, winning, and repeating. Just because a coach fails in those latter categories doesn’t mean “ranking recruiting classes is stupid.”

Recruiting matters, talent evaluation matters more….ranking recruiting classes before the play a down…is an exercise in futility at best.
