Capital Grill is pretty hard to beat but all the above are excellent Pappa Brothers are Del Frisco would be my second choices .

Our favorite is Rick's Chophouse in Mckinney. Make reservations early if you can. We also like Pappas brothers and del friscos.

Disagree completely. You had a bad experience and I’m a food snob.

At that price point, I don’t do second chances. I’d have to drive by Bob’s, Perry’s, and Papa‘s brothers, to get back to Nick and Sam’s….and I won’t do it again.

Thanks everyone…appreciate all of the feedback.

I took my now Wife to Pappas Brothers for our first Valentine’s Day back in 2004…it was excellent.

Looks like it’s between Al Beirnat’s, Nick and Sam, and Pappas!

From what you mention Capital is the most consistent.

Perry’s is an ok steak IMO but the most unbelievable pork chop know to man. I eat lunch there most Fridays.

Old Warsaw is my number one over there.

Town Hearth is a very well rounded restaurant also with a great steak

Old Warsaw or Town hearth. When wife and I go out these are her picks also.

Nick, Bob, Pappa’s are ok and you will have good experience but it’s the status quo not the exceptional

Thank you all for the great input…my Wife has decided on Al Biernat’s.

Looking forward to a great weekend with her, and a great meal!

Y’all will enjoy it! It’s a great place. We have been there several times and the food, drinks and atmosphere are fabulous.

I second this. Wife and I always eat at the YO during DSC. Somehow we end up drunk and make our way across the street to the western place (can't think of the name). Somehow I end up buying her new boots.

Now that I'm thinking about it....there appears to be some strategy in play here.....
