I’ve only eaten at the one on Fort Worth but Capital Grille was phenomenal.

Pappas Brothers is on my list to try in Dallas.

Knife has been on my list for quite awhile. Really want to try their 240 day dry aged steak. I know its going to be funky, but want to try it anyway.

Not sure how far out of your way it would be.. but maybe something for trip home. Fly by Night in Cleburne is pretty good. Its tucked away, and kind of in the middle of nowhere. I had a delicious tomahawk steak when I went.

But to actually answer your question, I'd say Al Biernat's because its unique, the rest are chains. All are great, but just going for the unique/local spot.

Dakota's Steakhouse in Dallas is awesome, yet expensive. If you both like Au Gratin Potatoes they have the best I've ever had. My wife love it so we go once/twice a year typically.

I believe reunion tower is now a more "cafe style" restaurant. Burgers/sandwiches and etc.

The last "fancy" place we've been to was Randy's in Frisco.
