Guess you missed the part where I said we bow hunt 95% of the time. Hardly the choice of someone just concerned with filling my freezer.
I do however enjoy hunting with my kids and have only shot 1 animal myself in the last 15 years. All other deer and hogs are shot by my kids while I watch with enjoyment.
So my opinion to relaxe youth archery regulations, could be taken that way; its purely selfish on my part to increase the level of enjoyment for my kids. In hopes they'll want to spend time with Dad in the stand.

I suggest this often to folks. Pretty much none do it. I believe my hunting skills are what they are because I used to hunt small game all the time. I skipped that with my boys and got them straight into deer hunting Texas style. Big mistake on my part. I taught them to be proficient killers and not hunters.
