I got down @ 1:00 and hung a Lone Wolf in a Hackberry tree that lets me watch the whole wheat field. It’s needs some trim work, but looks to be a promising set.
Then after talking with Brian and tossing around a few ideas, I headed to camp and snagged his decoy and now I’m back in the same set I hunted yesterday evening.
Hopefully if the buck does a repeat of yesterday, I can get his attention again and MAYBE, this decoy will convince him to come on in.
You can’t win if you don’t gamble.

No deer this evening. When I got back to the property with the decoy, farmers were cutting Milo close to where that buck was bedded yesterday. Thinking they may have bumped him or he may have found a doe last night and not be in the area.
I’ll be on a different property in the morning hunting a North wind.
