Yes sir I feel like I’m in the ocean. Just had a young 8 cruise by so I’m hopeful the deer will move this evening

I’m out in it now. The wind is supposed to die down around 6, from fingers crossed.

I was out in it earlier this week in NW OK. One day was 93 and 30-35mph wind and it was welcome and just kept the sweat down. Next morning it was 49 and same winds and I was freezing. Hate the wind. I drew on a small buck just to see what it was like. Tree was swaying, bow hard to hold steady. Anything over about 20yd shot would have been a crap shoot.

I was on stand one time in Kendal County. Wind was howling, bring in a cool front.

Deer were running, running everywhere. Even some nice racked bucks. Maybe they were chasing, but it seemed helter skelter to me.

Only trouble I had, the stand was looking WestNorthWest, directly into the sun.

I had my buck picked out, but the all I got was a scope full of sun.

Hard to compensate for windage when it's gusting like it is.

Just had 2 more small bucks walk by about 30 yards. Deer are up and moving.

Like fishing.....I go every time I can. Saying that, I see and catch much less in wind.

If you want to kill...stay home, If you want to hunt or fish...go!

Wind is howling at my place. Cameras show avg to above avg movement today.

I ended up shooting a big black boar and then saw a decent buck at last light once the wind starting laying a little it started picking up

Climbed down a little early and saw my target buck while I was walking out. He was with a doe about 500 yards from my stand.

All I know is I'm going to have about 1,500 pictures of blowing grass and tree limbs, along with half-dead batteries in my trail cameras.
