ok, i may give it a try. the spectracide worked pretty well yesterday, i killed about 15-20 of them but there are stull a handful buzzing around the opening.
There's more hive in there that you havn't got to yet.

oh i know, its under my wood front porch and there is no access to get under it, i have to take some boards off the top. i called a professional yesterday, may see what itll cost to have them come do it.
i thought i killed them all off a while back, didnt see any for a few weeks and they have slowly started showing back up.

We should get a night in the 40s in the next few weeks, that should let you take a board off and drop some bombs in 1st thing one morning.

If you have an opening they're coming out of, wait til dark and preferably on a cool night and get you a pump up sprayer or and electric sprayer and shove the wand down that hole and just fill 'er up with the soapy water stuff. My dad used to use a cup of gasoline and just pour it down the hole for yeller jackets or bumble bees too, but not too sure that'd be a good idea under your front porch... but it works!
Trouble is with those dang yeller jackets is they will chase you, land on you and just walk down your arm, leg or back and sting you over and over again... They're not like a honey bee that just stings once and loses its stinger... Those little suckers will just keep pokin' you over and over...

Heck man I was talking about nests you can see the whole crew on. If you have a hive or can't see them all, soap may not be your ideal use... You have to get soap all over them to work.
I didn't see this one mentioned, the Bonide brand wasp spray has worked great for me. Not the foaming kind, this is a purple, black and white can if I remember correctly. I get it from the feed store.

yah, mine are coming out of a little hole between my porch and my house. they come out 1 at a time or in a small group of 3 or 4. ive done a number to them over the last few days, dead ones all over the place, but they just keep comin! like i said, they have gotten 5 of us so far, all at least twice too, mean f's.
Soaped this group from 12-15 foot away. Hadn’t checked the left
outside roof line in a bit. They all just dropped or flew like a wounded dove to the grass. Went back and saw a lot of dead wasps and smashed the nest…..success!
