Bee Bopper. It’s in a red can. It will spray about 40ft and kills them instantly.

          Wasp

I crept up to every one of our blinds to find the majority had some sort of wasp nest carefully hidden in one of the hard to get to places. I'd gingerly open the hasp on the door, slowly opening the door just wide enough to look inside. I'd scan the interior of the blind to locate any stinging insects that may be lurking inside. Armed with a can of some el cheapo wasp spray I'd pray that nothing would fly my way. Whenever I encountered the coffee saucer sized nests I'd aim the can of death at the selected target fully expecting to watch the flying demons crash to their deaths once I squeezed the trigger on the can.
          What??..nothing but foam.
Those wasps would simply buzz their wings a few times in a highly agitated state taking flight and doing their best to fly like a poison dart directly at me.
I managed to duck and dive out of the way all afternoon. I avoided receiving a single sting. However, my satisfaction with any kind of wasp's spray is NOT what it once was.
I haven't found a "new" version of wasp spray that has the same killing power as we did "back in the day".
Anybody have any good recommendations for kill on contact wasps spray?
          TIA.
I put the little bomb cans in mine. Just crack open the door set it and press the button close the door and problem solved.

i just got tagged sunday night while carrying my 40lb bucket of chlorine. never even saw them, one got me on the arm, dropped the edge of the bucket on my foot, and another got me on the back as i ran away. woke up yesterday morning and along with the swollen, hot to the touch, spots on my arm and back, feels like the top of my foot is broken.

picked up some spectracide today, going to try the soap water too.

i have been battling and killing these things for a month now, 5 family members have been tagged, day and night.

Just make sure you're not wearing a light of any kind. I learned this the hard way moving one of my beehives at night without my suit on. They flew, en masse, directly at the light source.

Dawn dish soap and water. Mix enough soap into a water filled spray bottle until you feel the soap in the water. Spray the hell outta the wasps and watch them suffocate and die a horrible, gruesome death! Works great for mosquitos and flys also!

Just killed another 8-10 reds today at my other pig blind I missed seeing last trip. Ajax soapy water and a sprayer did the trick again

Everyone needs a good whisk broom kept handy when killing wasps.

Sucks to spray them and then hear them crunch under your boots while you're trying to be silent lol

That soapy film hits them and they immediately start suffocating and fly very poorly if not straight to the ground. I get 4-5 foot from them and let em have it. Haven't been stung yet...or even close frankly.. The closer you can get the better because you can cover quicker than they can react. Not much more aggressive than a red wasp and it ate their lunch.

                            I use this...
