update, i followed the firmware update instructions, inserted the sd card and the camera will not take the update. its still not updating my delay settings. delay, battery type and flash mode continue to go back to default. unless anyone has any suggestions i guess i'll be on hold a while in the morning, lol. on the reveal im using a sandisk 16gb ultra card class 10. i know the reveal x uses the U3 ones.

They suggest Class 10 U3 in the original Reveals as well….but just the X’sComment

Question…..did you have your “update” on the proper card as well? Seems like I ran into that when I tried updating mine. Didn’t have the update on a proper sized card.Comment

I had a friend that was having issues with his Tactacam Reveal. He tried doing the downloads and could not get that to work. I reached out here on the GS for help but got alot of the same suggestions that you received here and none of them worked. My friend decided come hell or high water he was getting in touch with customer service last week on Thursday. He called me late Thursday afternoon and was excited that he finally got someone at customer service to answer. Of course he was on hold for a little over three hours before a customer service rep picked up. They walked him through some probable fixes, which we had already tried, and nothing worked. The customer service rep finally told him that they would send him and return tag and that he would need to send his back to them and they would send him a new camera. Quite a bit of time spent trying to resolve the issue but at least he is on the path to getting his camera replaced.Comment
