Tactacam reveal troubleshooting question

I have one of my 2020 cams that will not update my delay setting from the app. Also I will look on my phone and after a couple days the delay setting is disabled, flash mode has changed and battery type has changed. Has Anyone had these issues? I have not done a firmware update. never can get ahold of customer service.

Need to do firmware for starters. Was supposed to been done before sept 12 I believe….or they may not work properly afterwards. And you do not need customer service for firmware. Just download it to an SD card and take it to your camera.

Ok I’ll do that and see if that helps. I never knew anything about a date it had to be done by. You would think there would have been an email. Thanks

Probably so, but my camera is setup on an email I rarely check, maybe about every 2-3 months. Guess I will go check that email now.

Well I be, there is an email about it, of course, in spam, but still there. Guess I will read it, but kind of scared of doing anything. LoL, it's working like a charm right now.

Yeah I probably missed it. you know how it is, you get so many dang emails from these companies when you buy their products, you start just deleting crap without reading it

Just now seeing this, probably deleted the email too- if they didn’t spam me daily trying to sell every widget they make I’d have paid more attention to them.

So I’ve got a Reveal set up 6 hours away- still sending pics.
Should I pull off this update on a different sd card then haul it out there with me next time I go to update the camera?

I would if it’s last years model. Simple,easy task…..takes mere minutes at your camera. If it’s an “X” model….then no worries

Tactacam reveal troubleshooting question

I have a Reveal and an X.

The X sent it’s last picture of a cow a while back, evidently the antennas taste good.



Luckily I had a spare antenna they sent me when my Reveal was acting up.

Now it’s up in a tree- out of cows reach.

One of mine stopped sending pics. I updated with the last firmware update and it is back to normal.
