This thread motivated me. Did my first one this past week. Insurance covered it fully so why not have the peace of mind.
The prep wasn’t bad at all, the fasting was worse than the prep.
also, best nap I have ever had.

At 70 years old, I do it when it is recommended! Better safe than sorry!

I have to have one every year. 10-years in a row.

Next year I'm going to get my wife to write a note on my butt, "We've been trying to reach you about you're car's extened warranty...."

Just got mine done. Good to go for another 7 years. It's something we all need to do.

Had my first one at 50. Found a polyp. It was small and caught it early. Had my second one at 53. All good. I’m good until 60 now. Get it done. It’s a piece of cake

Going in for my 4th one in the last 15 years on June 4th. First one found a couple pollops, next 2 both been clear. 5 years since last one so hopefully all is good this time too. Get yours done. Don't **** out, it's a piece of cake and it could save your life.

No way I would put it off 7 years Of course, my family has a history of colon cancer. But what I know is early detection is the key and the procedure is really a great short nap.

Had my first one last year. Found 14 polyps. Got my 1 year follow up on Monday. I'll be doing them yearly until the doc says otherwise.

Anyone know of a system in place for folks without health insurance that can get them done?

Ask your Dr if you can do the Cologuard, it's not 100% but my Dr prefers you doing that over not doing anything.

I was on a five year schedule until the insurance got tired of spending the money every five years so now I’m on a ten year schedule. Oh, it’s a slow growing cancer so we should be able to catch it within a ten year span. Gee, I hope they’re right.
