Awesome link Blake. Thank you for sending.

I found 2 of my friends homes and although in water, looks to have roofs on and intact. Shrimp boat and fishing boats must have been tied off to ride out the storm as they are both floating near their covered dock.

Another friend down the way had his camp come off the foundation (been on stilts for many years) so unsure if it will survive.

Hard hit in the John Lafitte area

Waiting to hear from another friend in Chauvin. On map / link her house took a bad hit and hope it is insured as it is her sole source of income from rentals

We have one the 16-17th. Doesn’t appear it will happen unless they can get fuel. Right now Plaquemens Parish is shut down to those that don’t live there. We shall see.

              Glad y'all are OK Blake!!!

Called Wade Henry - he was rolling to Baton Rouge from Home. Camps around Bayou DuLarge - can't find nothing but - I do know it's gonna take years to get it where it once was. Infrastructure got the hell tore up outta it - and the power grid rebuild - in Back Country - ain't easy when so much core - needs attention to keep folks alive in AUGUST - SEPTEMBER HUMIDITY.

3rdCoastHummer - you are certainly a Michael Moore fan!

Disregard. Lots of love from Texas to our brothers and sisters in the bayou state.
