They aren't the states deer and he had every right to kill those dogs.

We've had a few dogs get in and kill deer there wasn't alot of damage to them either. Caught in the act and a few bites to the back legs and the the throats.

Not mine but sure feeling disgusted, sad, and angry at this event. What a tragic waste. Mostly feeling mad for the deer and sorry for the ranch owner losing all those critters. Dang it.

He didn’t hear anything until after they had killed 25 of them?? 6 dogs barking, going crazy, and killing pent up deer would make a significant amount of noise. Just seems odd.
Deer are really finicky, especially when they have fawns. These does and young ones probably killed themselves bouncing off the fences. Some deer are really weird when it comes to other animals being around the pens. They will go crazy bouncing off the fence.

Those axis are livestock. And I would of done the same if they were in the pen after whitetail.

All you have to have in the state of texas
Is fur bearers license and you can
Kill all the feral dogs you want
That's the main reason I get one
Every year if you cant keep your dog on
Your place I'm sorry for your loss
Cost too much to hunt these days
And I Will not put up with your dog or
                        Any dog running my Deer

Story said his fences were electrified and the dogs dug under the barn to get access.

If the deer farmer had an ag exemption, and I'm bet he did, then the county that issued the exemption views them as ag stock. Therefore he should be able to protect his stock

Get a fur bearers license and kill all of them
I have no use of feral dogs and especially
                              Pit bulls
Get that license and you are legal to kill them all
Cost way too much these days to lease land an do all the work that goes into it and I will be da*** if I am gonna let a neighbors dog or any dog or coyote run my deer off
If you cant keep your dog on your side of the fence you better not hunt next to me

Here's a little info for those of you that think deer breeders own the deer.
