    Hill country fawn crop.

I have been watching the deer on my place in Llano, not seeing any fawns to speak of. Saw 12 does at feeder and 1 fawn. Not seeing any driving around nor when mowing. Anyone else seen the lack of fawns.

It has been strange down here in Sandia. We have a yard population of about 12 to 15 does that come daily and most of them were pregnant. I watched and saw some with large udders and not pregnant any more, so figure they had fawns and are just keeping them away from the house and feeders. Finally saw one in the hay pasture the other day, but there should be at least 8 or 10 more... hoping they are just hiding them in all the lush greenery........

Almost all the does near Junction had fawns trailing this last weekend. Over half had twins.

I sat at the lease last weekend and witnessed a few does that still hid their fawns back in the brush while eating at the feeder.

I've been getting pics of this little one for about a month now. Gotten big enough to jump into the feeder pen. Jack/Young County area.

We have seen fawns around the house, but only recently have they started trailing the does.
Found one killed and eaten 100 yards from the house. Assumed coyote or bobcat

I’m in Burnt County and have 6-8 does come in regularly. There are 4 fawns with them.
That’s about the fawn to doe ratio I see year over year.

I was wondering the same thing we're in Edwards county just south of rocksprings and have only seen 1 fawn. Usually we see quite a few on camera not this year. Guess like everyone else is saying the does are keeping them hidden.

After 2 year of not seeing fawns at my place in Wimberley I see them everyday this year.

                            Leakey

We have a lot of fawns this year on camera. More than I remember in past years.

Numbers seem a little lower than last year to me
