3 hole board with 10 ft chain

Here is how I build mine. I use a 2x4 frame with plywood on top. Plywood is 1ft x 4ft.

I go to Tractor Supply and get a 10' dog chain with a clip on each end...put an eye hook on the front of each board to clip too.

Have to stand on the board when you throw.....1, 3, 5 is the scoring.

The best part about it is watching people try to stay on the board when they are drunk.

I've been thinking about making some "custom washer wraps", I'm in the begining stages of getting them set up. I figure there's a pretty good market for it here in College Station.

I like 1 hole best but we have been playing a lot of 3-hole washers lately because we have a set of boards at the house.

WE set it up at the lease using 2 campbells soup cans in the ground at about 20 ft....we have as much fun as boards and specific measurement ...that's what it is all about ...having fun...

We did the same thing at my girlfriends parent's house on Easter, but with bean cans, worked great.

I thought the only rule was you must always have a cold adult beverage in your "non-pitching" hand!

That is for balance and the key to pitching washers.

Does the tounge give you a second point of reference ... like a rifle sight?

Only the truly great athletes use it.

It's hard to take a hole in the ground with you on road trips to places where they don't want the grass tore up.

Washers with more than one hole per board is like kissing your sister. Less than twenty feet is like kissing your brother.

I guess I'm partial to lead plates. IMO, that's the best... as long as you're not hauling them around!!!

there's no shame in the hole in the ground version! and yes the beverage does balance the universe when it comes to washers!
