2014 800 ive had to rebuild transmission twice only 3000 miles. Also the brake safety switch has been a problem. It only engages when it wants. Finally got tired of it not working so I wired around it. Just don't have brake lights now

I'm on my 3rd. Last two have been pretty much problem free.

Current 2020 1000XP Crew is great, 2015 570 was great, really only maintnance and 1x CV axle... The first one (2010 800) was a giant pile of poop, but I bought it knowing that. It was well documented on here and a TV show the abuse it got.

Probably the same reason Rangers are too. And Mules. And...

I have said it on multiple posts. When I was at the dealer that sales multiple brands getting my mule serviced (negotiated my first few service visits into the deal ) the techs called me to back to ask me where I wanted something mounted. While back there they thanked me for getting the right product. Told me the Polaris models are always in for problems. I looked around. My mule was the only one back there.

I have a 2013 800 that I took in last week to have service, dealer called yesterday with a $3000 quote. I about had a heart attack. Ranger isn’t worth $3000, $125 an hour for service seems nuts! I told him to fix a couple of major things and leave the rest alone. Wanted $200 to wire in a light bar.

I have a 2013 800XP and have had zero issues other than I knocked a hole in the radiator which I replaced. Of course as soon as I write this I will probably jinx myself.

The last time we had to have our Mule worked on, they charged us $11 for a can of WD-40 on top of the $1100 service bill.

We must go to the same dealer. How about $100.00 to wash a 900 and when I got it home clods of mud the size of my fist were falling off of it.

Most ATV dealers are selling units faster than the mechanics can fix them. I've heard up to a 4 to 6 week wait to get a unit serviced.
